Rammed Earth Bench
Urla, İzmir, TürkiyeIn September 2025, we experimented with rammed earth by building a bench in Urla, using only natural materials. We mixed soil from the site with clay, water, sand, gravel, and lime. Each layer has a slighly different mix, so the shades change as it goes up. It only contains 5% of cement for the base.
